Passed away in his sleep at LaPointe Fisher Nursing Home on Friday, July 27, 2018. Moe Blackwell at 93 years of age, after a courageous battle with cancer. Uncle to Michael (Christine) Marney (Murray) and Laurie Galawray and Ken (Donna) Blackwell. Also survived by his great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Myrtle (Terry) and Wesley Blackwell; sisters Grace Campbell, Cel Galawray; brothers Ken and Bruce Blackwell. Moe enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid hunter of moose and deer right up to age 91. In honour of Moe’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private graveside service to take place at the family plot in Bracebridge.
