Born May 11, 1931, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 22, 2017. 

Beloved wife of the late Ernest (2007). Loving Mom to Ernest “Larry” (Sue) Blewett, Michael (Deb) Blewett, James (Vicki) Blewett, Donna Labonte, Peter (Care-n) Blewett, and Patricia (Tony) Bercowski. Cherished Grandma of Steve (Lisa), Tracy (Tyler), Annette, Ken (Val), Annie (Tyler), Adam (Karly), Christine (Eric) and Jasmine (Joe), Anna-Marie (Martin), Rachel, Wes (Kailee). Loved Great Grandma of Blade, Grace, Jolianne, Allyson, Logan, Emma, Jacob, Cameron and Jacob. Dear sister of Jim (Liesa) Grant. 

Predeceased by her parents Donald and Annie Grant, her grandsons James and Andrew, brothers Donald (Jean), Jack (Mae) and Bruce (Doris), and nephews Barry and Bruce. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Anna May worked at the University of Guelph for many years and was a longtime member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. She loved music and jokes, but most of all – her family.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday, December 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau.

Special thanks to Dr. Pavanel for her many years of care, and Dr. Shafir and the nursing staff of the 4th Floor at Guelph General Hospital. Memorial contributions to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated. 

A tree will be planted in memory of Anna May Blewett in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
