Passed away, peacefully, at 80 years of age, at Hospice Wellington on Monday, February 9, 2016, surrounded by her children Dyann, Cindy (Roger Alaimo) and Robert.
She was the proud grandmother of Kristian, Allessandro, Jordan and Jenna and the loving great-grandmother of Steve. Yvette was the dear sister of Marylou Martinez of France.
She is predeceased by her parents Frederic and Amelia Campagnol and by her sister Mercedes Roc. Yvette will be remembered by many for her unwavering volunteer work, her fundraising and her community involvement.
Yvette’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you and sincere gratitude to those who helped in her care at Stone Lodge, at the Guelph General Hospital, and at Hospice Wellington, as well as to those friends and family who took her to appointments or just looked in on her.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph (Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.)
A Vigil for Yvette will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
