We regretfully announce the passing of Maureen Booth, who passed away peacefully on October 22, 2021. After a difficult battle with dementia, Maureen is finally at rest. She will be forever loved and forever remembered. She leaves behind her devoted and heart broken husband Norm, her children Kevin (Sue), Karen, grandson Riley, great grandson Landon and Molly her beloved companion. She is survived by her loving siblings John (Linda), Martin (Lori) and Josephine. Maureen is predeceased by her parents John and Veronica and sister Christine. Her many nieces and nephews will dearly miss their Aunty Mo. Maureen’s family would like to thank her very close friend Rose for her never wavering friendship and for the many memories she and Maureen made together.
Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, visitation will take place on Thursday, October 28, 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm at Gilbert
MacIntyre & Son, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, Ontario. A private Funeral Service will take place by invite only. All are welcome to live stream the service via ZOOM on Friday, October 29 at 11:00am. at gilbertmacintyreandson.com. Capacity is limited for the visitation. Due to COVID restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance through the funeral home website. No proof of vaccination is required but masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Guelph General Hospital Foundation or The Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
