It is with great sadness that the Bortolon family announces the passing of a beloved husband, father,  brother and uncle, Albino Bortolon.

Albino was the cherished husband of Theresa (DeSero) for 56 years. Bino was the loving father of Tina (Ted) and Anthony. He was a dear brother inlaw of Mary Bortolon, Irma Cazzola, and Nancy DeSero. Predeceased by his parents Luigia and Pietro as well as his brothers and sisters Germano (Maria), Milva (Bruno), Gilda (Gino), Fortunato (Carmella), Tony, Aldo and Tony Desero. Zio Bino was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Albino was born in Ca Rainate San Zenone, Italy. He emigrated to Canada in April 1964 and settled in Guelph where he met and married Theresa. He spent his working career at Oaks Precast, Lafarge Canada, and Hanson Pipe and Precast where he cemented many longtime friendships.

Albino loved to shot pool, play cards, bocce and spending time with friends and family. We will all miss his smile and his easy goingness.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, where the family invites friends and relatives for a visitation on Sunday, July 9, 2023, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
