It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mom, Imelda Pierina Botter (Frasson) on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Village of Riverside Glen in Guelph.  We were so fortunate to have been able to take her out last September to celebrate her 100th birthday.

Predeceased by her loved husband of 62 years, Ardolino (Art).

Also predeceased by parents Emilio and Regina Frasson, brother Gino, and sisters Ines Mazzocca and Orsolina (Lena) Frasson.

Beloved mother to daughters Brenda Corstorphine (Dan), Lorrie Cybulskie (Garry), and son Gino.  Much loved Nonna to Shannon (Dave), Justin (Jackie), Shannon, DJ, and Allie.  Proud Bisnonna to Lincoln, Lennox, and Lochlyn.

She was a wonderful cook, and especially loved making gnocchi and risotto.  She loved to play bingo, euchre, and thoroughly enjoyed playing Kings in the Corner with her daughters.  She especially loved visits with her son Gino, who would take her out on walks in the neighbourhood.  She loved dancing with Dad at the Legion on Saturday nights, and would dance around with her walker at Riverside Glen, and the team on Egerton knew that and moved about with her!  She was so happy to see and interact with her 3 great-grandchildren.

She and her sister Ines used to sing and play guitar and mandolin at parties and dances.  They even made a couple of records

Special thanks to Dylan and his wonderful team in the Egerton Neighbourhood at The Village of Riverside Glen.  Such a kind and caring group of people.  Thank you all for your kindness and compassionate care of Mom, especially during her final days there.

As per her wishes, there will be a private ceremony with immediate family at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Donation cards are available at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St N., Guelph, or online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
