Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at The Elliott Community on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in her 96th year.
Loved daughter of Christina Adeline (nee McArthur) (1971) and Edgar Peterson Bowman (1964). Predeceased by her parents and brothers Robert McArthur Bowman (at 5 years old) and Harold McArthur Bowman (at birth).
Margaret will be missed by cousins and many friends around the world. She will be rejoicing in the reunions with family and old friends and getting to know her little brothers. But most of all, she will be overwhelmed with joy in the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who has prepared a place of unimaginable beauty and fulfillment for all who trust Him.
Margaret grew up in Guelph and attended Torrance and Central Public Schools and GCVI. She trained as a nurse at Hamilton General Hospital in 1950. She attended Moody Bible Institute in 1954. She received her BScN from University of Western Ontario in 1970. She worked in various aspects of nursing in Ontario, Alberta, and Alaska. Margaret served with International Student Ministries Canada in Waterloo and Guelph for 15 years before retiring in 2000.
Friends will be received at the Guelph Bible Chapel, 216 Silvercreek Pkwy S, Guelph on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 10am to 11am. Funeral service will be held at the Bible Chapel at 11am.
