Age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023, at Guelph General Hospital after a courageous and strong willed battle after a fall. She was born February 9th, 1937, in Erin, Ontario.
She is predeceased by beloved husband William (Bill) Bray (2016), cherished daughter Sandra (Sandy) Bowman (2017) and infant son Eddie. Shirley truly lived her life to the fullest extent. She is survived by her much loved daughters, Cynthia (Cindy) Bray of Guelph and Linda Mertinkat of Stukenbrock, Germany and her very proud grandchildren Nathalie Mertinkat and Taylor Bowman.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, 161 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 2:00pm. Reception to follow in the church hall.
