With broken hearts yet with a sense of joy for a life filled with boundless passion, we announce the passing of Pierino (Peter) Broglio on Wednesday, April 10 2024, just shy of his 96th birthday.
Peter was born in Mello, Italy surrounded by alps and vineyards. He immigrated to Canada at the age of 30 where he raised his beloved children Odette, Robert, George, Marilena, Sandra and Perry. A loving grandfather of Dylan George and Giannina. He was predeceased by his wife Giannina and son George. Peter will be remembered for his bold determination and passion for life and all that it offered.
A visitation for Peter will be held at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. John's Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 150 Georgina St, Arthur. Followed by refreshments in Arthur.
