Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at St Joseph’s Life Care Centre, Brantford after celebrating her 79th Birthday. Predeceased by her parents Monica and Jack Carey of Guelph and brother John Carey of Kitchener. Survived by her son Dean Wood and his wife Terry , her Grand children Greggory Wood and Hillary Alwright, her sister in law Debra Carey and nephew Scott Carey.

Pam worked for Imperial Tobacco in Guelph for many years before becoming a Real Estate agent in Chatham and later Guelph until she became ill. Pam loved her family and enjoyed being with people. The highlight of her day was talking to her brother John and his wife Debbie by phone. 

Thank you to the all staff of St Joseph’s Life Care Centre, Brantford for nearly a decade of compassion and care that went beyond just being your job. She felt it really was her home.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, cremation has taken place and there are no plans for visitation at this time.
