It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Brown on November 8, 2022 with his wife by his side at the age of 69.

Terry will be lovingly missed by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth; His children Tim (Tereena), Bob (Melissa), Brian (Martha); His grandchildren Mason, Lillian, Logan and Allan; And his sister Helen Astins. He is predeceased by his father Thomas, mother Gladys and his brother Randy.

Terry will be fondly remembered and missed by his many extended family members, friends and colleagues.

A Guelph resident for most of his life, Terry knew many people. He greeted everyone with a smile and a witty comment. He cherished his time spent with his family. Annual trips to Manitoulin Island were a highlight. Camping, Fishing and having a cold Coors Light around the bonfire. He devoted many hours of his time to his boy’s baseball schedules over the years. A sport he loved and participated in himself. He and his wife enjoyed many road trips together. Sometimes just for a special meal or to pop in and visit with their grandchildren whom he cherished.

Terry retired from BF Goodrich in Kitchener after 33 years of service. He has been a school crossing guard the last 7 years with the City of Guelph. He loved seeing all the children’s smiling faces and chatting with all the families that he served.

Terry also played in a Cribbage league at the Guelph Legion. A game he greatly enjoyed.

The family would like to thank the Cardiac Team at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener for all their outstanding care; As well as doctors, nurses and staff at Guelph General Hospital for their dedicated care.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, cremation has taken place. A private urn entombment will take place and a Celebration of Life is to be announced at a later date.
