We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our Mother and Nana, Deborah Lynne Bruce (Johnston) on April 3, 2024 at the age of 71.
Debbie is survived by her daughter Lisa and son in law Brian. Grandsons Jack, Nathan and Lukas. Brother Bud (Cheryl), her niece and nephew Nancy and Kevin. She was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Arty (who we lost just last year). Parents, Margarite and James Johnston and her brother Stephen Johnston.
Lisa, Brian and the boys will greatly miss Nana’s visits to Brantford, making homemade pizzas and spending time together. Debbie will be missed by all that knew her, but especially missed by her dear life long friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home – Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St. Guelph) for a Memorial Visitation on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 12 – 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Debbie’s Life at 1:00 pm. Cremation has taken place.
Donations directed to the Guelph Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciate by the family.
