Passed away peacefully with family by her side in her 92nd year on Monday, August 7th at St Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph. Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat in 1970. Survived by her sister Mary Thompson of Chatsworth, Ontario. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers John, Roy, Robert (Bob) and Don. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jean on Monday August 21st at 11:30 am. The family will welcome family and friends at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, followed by interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Woolwich Street, Guelph. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Parkinson Society of Guelph Region. The family wish to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Linden Court, St Joseph Health Center, Guelph for their kindness and concern for Jean while she was in their care.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jean H. Brunger in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
