Sharron Arlene Buchanan passed away peacefully on December 3, 2021 at Guelph General Hospital. Her sister Rosann (Dave) was there to comfort her in her final hours.
She was predeceased by her Father Nick (1967) and Mother Minnie (2017). Sharron was a loving and devoted mother to Dan (Curtis) and Scott (Kristin) and proud Nana to Darwin and Ariel. She is profoundly missed by her immediate and extended family and many friends she made through the years.
Sharron spent her life in Ontario where she grew up in Brantford and Kitchener before living her adult years in Barrie and Guelph where she made many great friendships. She loved to spend time with family and especially enjoyed her down time at the lake. She was a strong woman, surviving pancreatic cancer and we are grateful for the many years we were able to share with her afterwards. The loss of Sharron’s loving, and caring personality leaves a large void in the lives of all those who she touched.
We thank staff at Cambridge Memorial and Guelph General Hospitals for caring for her in her final days and Dr. Ruo and staff at McMaster’s Juravinski Cancer Clinic for their care as Sharron battled through cancer 16 years ago.
