Carl Bunnaman died in the arms of his loving wife of 56 years, on March
18, 2020 in Guelph, ON at the age of 79.
Survived by his loving wife, Fedelis (Dell) (Maragh), his children; Judy
Ellis (Bill), Carl Jr. (Tracy), Sharon Zamin (Mark), Clare Male (Chris),
and Damian (Joanne). His 14 grandchildren; Britney Robinson (Chris),
Denielle, Brooke (AJ), Andrew (Natasha), Joshua, Alex, Evan, Isabella,
Brianne, Braeden, Jacob, Eddy, Chris, Susan; Great grandchildren; Holden
and Hannah. Son of the late Charles and Gladys (Barrett); Siblings;
Phyllis, Vad, Fred, Myrtle, Trevor and Polly. Predeceased by siblings
George, Ismae and Bigga. Brother-in-law to Neville (D), Sandy (D), Ileen,
Helen, Leroy, Neville, Pam and Tim. Carl will be remembered by his family
in Jamaica, including Calbert, Sean, Jermaine, and Shauna-Kay.
Carl was born on March 12th, 1941 in Seaford Town, Jamaica and immigrated
to Canada in 1972 where he became employed by Owens Corning (Fiberglas
Canada) until his retirement in 2005. He had a love for his family,
friends, and anything mechanical. He could often be found working in his
garden, fixing gadgets or vehicles in his driveway for his children and
then grandchildren. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews and was
always there to lend a hand.
A special thank you to Dr. Anne Marie Zajdlik and the Bayshore Nurses,
especially Bonita. Your kindness and compassion will never to be
forgotten.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19 funeral services will be
postponed and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu
of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
or One Heart One Soul Campaign.
