Posted

Burke
Born in Dublin Ireland September 15th 1962 Mary Burke nee Kavanagh
passed peacefully with her family beside her early morning of Thursday
April 29th 2021 in her 58th year, too young to be lost to this world.
Mary was a loving wife to Ken and mother to her sons Ryan (Jessica
Lausch), Michael, Kenneth and daughter Jessica. Beloved grandchildren
Liam and Declan. Dear daughter of Mary and Mikey Kavanagh and cherished
sisters Ellen, Anne, Patricia and Michelle. Mary will be deeply missed
by all her many nieces and nephews in Canada, Ireland and the USA. Mary
was raised in Ballyfermot, Dublin where she had many happy years growing
up with her loving sisters and started her work life in E.D.I where she
met her husband Ken and they were married on May 31st 1985. Mary
emigrated to Canada in 1988, had her first child Ryan in 1989 and
settled in Guelph in 1990 where the children were happily raised. Mary
worked with Pidel Homes as well as Fusion homes where she worked up to
recently before an absence for cancer treatment. She was adored by all
who met her, she provided the same care and special attention to the
many customers who purchased new homes from her. She was a force of
nature, and she carried herself with unparalleled grace, wit and
fortitude. Her smile, her laugh were honest and heartwarming, and she
will be missed beyond words. Mary will be sorrowfully missed by her
husband, children and sister Patricia.

Special thanks to Doctors Califaretti, Russak from the Grand River
Cancer center, Doctors Ganesh and Spadafora from Guelph, the Doctors and
nurses from the Guelph General Hospital, and finally a special thanks to
Nurse Catrina Curtis from Bayshore who took care of Mary to the end of
her life with her daily visits. All this loving care provided to Mary
was most appreciated.
