BURNS, Carole Anne

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Anne Burns at the age 79 on Tuesday March 7, 2023 in Guelph Ontario.

Born in the U.K to the late Terry and Dorothy McClune. Carole was the dearly loved wife of Keith Burns for 57 adventurous years. Loving and very proud mother of Jonathan and his partner Maria, and Katharine and her partner Jimmy. Dear sister of Brian Burns (late Penny) of England, and sister to Helen McClune of Mississagua, Pam Kenton (Stan) of England and Clare Hoebjerg (Kimble) of Mississagua. She will be deeply missed by extended family, friends, and coworkers.

Carole had a loving relationship with her husband Keith, so much so the grief at his loss less than a year ago was one that left a space in her heart; one that would never be filled. Now it is whole again now that they are reunited in the after life.

Carole will be remembered by everyone for her friendly welcoming personality, her love of gardening, dinner parties, working as a librarian and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carole will always be remembered for her gentleness, kindness, and storytelling of the events of her life, acting as the foreman on the building of their home, and ongoing renovations to test Keith's patience, and yes her love of UFO’s and Aliens and the odd conspiracy.

The family has decided to forego a traditional funeral, instead a gathering will be made at Belfountain, a beautiful bridge over a waterfall, that holds a special place as one of the family’s first nature excursions, both the ashes of both Keith and Carole will be scattered at that time. VIP Invitations will be made to those close family members to attend in the future.
