Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Bridge, 2013). Loved father of Pam and her husband Ben McCarl. Cherished grandfather of Ashley McCarl Palmer (Alex Palmer) and Sondra Burrows-Wolting (Justin Wolting). Great grandfather to Abigail, Annabelle and Julia. Dear brother to Beverly Burrows. Brother-in-law to Doug Bridge (the late Rose), the late Helen Bridge, Lois (Jack Campion), Linda (Bob McCreary) and Donna (Ed Kramp). Predeceased by brothers and sisters Bill Burrows, Don Burrows, Betty Hurley and Marion Koch. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 1-2 pm followed by a memorial service at 2 pm. Memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
