Rino Busato of Guelph, Ontario passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Born in Casacorba, Italy. Rino will be greatly missed by his loving wife Maria (Ostetto) of 56 years. Beloved father of Louie (Kim), Steve (Diane) and Nancy (Dilan). Cherished Nonno to his grandchildren Merissa, Mateo, Nicola and Deja. Rino was predeceased by his loving parents, Emilio and Rita , brothers Odorico (Teresa), Gino (survived by Laura) and Luciano. He will be fondly remembered by his two sisters, Luigina (Frank) Pozzobon and Valeria (Fausto) Brombal, in-law's John (Yole) Ostetto, Olinda (late Giancarlo) Tessaro, Albina (late Silvano) Pozzobon, Luigi (Ivana )Ostetto and sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Rino was a dedicated family man, working hard his entire life to provide the best for his family. Always willing to lend a hand, Rino was the epitome of the strong, silent type who enjoyed the simple things in life: sitting in his backyard, enjoying nature, working in his shop, cheering on Ferrari in Formula 1, taking walks, visiting with family and friends and without a doubt, a nice glass of wine. He will be truly missed.
Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph. Family invite friends to a visitation on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice Street, Guelph. Private family entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Catholic Cemetery will take place at a later date.
