(4 March, 1942 - 16 June 2019)

Resident of Guelph, Ontario, formerly of Aberaman-Aberdare Wales, passed away at his home on June 16, 2019 in his 78th year.

Howard was born and raised in Aberdare, Wales. He emigrated to Canada in 1966 where he enjoyed a successful career in metallurgy. Howard was an avid reader and rugby enthusiast. He will be missed by his son Andrew, daughter-in-law Danielle, their three sons, Cameron, Lucas and and Josh, his daughter Caroline and her three daughters Bronwyn, Xoe and Allison, as well as extended family and friends. Howard is predeceased by his parents, Doug and Ruby Bushen.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Howard’s memory would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Howard Bushen in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
