passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends who loved her on March 25, 2023, at the age of 88.

Her life was one of humble service to her family, friends and community as a loving sister, Salvation Army officer, mother and later registered practical nurse in St. John’s and Guelph.

Junie loved Jesus and his love shone through her. Junie believed in angels, and if you knew Junie, you knew she was right. She brought laughter and joy to all those around her.

She remains in the hearts of those who love her and whom she loved deeply including her son Bob who worried too much, her daughter Cindy (and Shane) who was never far away from her, and her grandchildren Lily, Thomas, Lauren and Harper who made her so happy.

She was a special part of the Grundy family from Brantford, Ontario. She took care of and loved her siblings (Davey, Errol, Ronnie and Jeanie) from the tender age of 14 years old after her mom died.  She will be missed by her twin sister Jeanie (and George), cherished cousin Isabel (and Dan), Marion (wife of Davey) and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also loved by the Butler family (Nfld) and Cameron family, especially her daughter-in-law Lisa who took care of her the best.

She loved the residents at the Foxwood Christian Community in Guelph where she spent her last happy days, especially friend Sally.

A visitation will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, at 5:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm, on Friday March 31st, 2023.

In lieu of flowers or donations please be extra kind to someone. Junie did this everyday.
