September 17, 1941 – March 16, 2023
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at St. Joseph Health Centre. Loving wife of the Late Harold Cabeldu (2016), Eileen had a successful career at the University of Guelph for over 30 years. Eileen was predeceased by her Mother Annie and Father Wilbert Sockett, sisters Beatrice Locker, Lucy Atkins and Shirley McIntyre. Survived by one sister Grace Myer. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the team at St. Joseph’s for years of care.
Friends and Family are invited to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street N, Guelph. Visitation is on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. A memorial service will be celebrated in the Dublin Chapel following visitation at 12:00pm with reception to follow.
