CALANCHIE, Beverley Joan (Bennett)

May 28, 1931 - March 5, 2024

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce Beverley Joan Calanchie (Bennett) passed away peacefully with her family at her side. The beloved wife of the late Alex W. Calanchie (1986). Alex and Bev were married for 34 years and lovingly celebrated the birth of their 9 children Carol Waters (Michael), Lynn Lake (Martin), Gail Wiebe (Walter), Maureen Grahlman (Ron), Donna Calanchie (Randy), Murray Calanchie (Linda), Diane Calanchie (Greg), David Calanchie (Kathy), Brian Calanchie (Eun Young). The devoted Nanny to her 10 grandchildren Kindra, Mark, Brendan, Krista, Melissa, Bryan, Michael, Joshua, Dylan and Nathan and Great Nanny to her 17 great grandchildren Sierra, Sydney, Kenny, Kingston, Jacoby, Cooper, Johme, Alekzander, Frances, Chase, Asher, Kaede, Haru, Louie, Zachery, Marcus and Lincoln. Predeceased by her 3 brothers Ted, Bill and Alvin.

Our mom touched the lives of countless people through her life-long dedication and commitment with the Holy Rosary Church, the Catholic Women's League, the Guelph Drop-In Centre, and the Loretto Convent.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home - Hart Chapel. A private funeral was held at Holy Rosary Church on Monday, March 11th.

Our hearts are broken but the wonderful loving memories of our Mom and Nanny will be with us forever.
