Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Barbara (nee Harkies) Camilleri, age 68 years, was the beloved wife of the late Tony Camilleri (2006). She was the dear mother of Tonya (Todd) Campbell and Joseph. Barb dearly treasured her grandson Evan. She was the beloved Grandma Bawkii of Ryan Young. Barbara was the dearly loved daughter of Shirley Harkies and the late Bill Harkies (1982), and dearly loved sister of Bonnie (Dave) McCuen, Bob Harkies, Bryan Harkies and the late Bill Harkies. She was the loving sister-in-law of Debbie Harkies. Barb is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and beloved relatives in Malta and England.
Barb was the lunch supervisor at St. Peter’s School. She enjoyed her job and dearly loved the children at the school. Special thanks to Dr. Hobson, Dr. Hewick, Dr. Moodley and Mrs. Moodley and Carol, to the staff at the Guelph General Hospital, the CCAC and the staff at Hospice Wellington.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph for visitation on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. A celebration of Barb’s life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
