Charles Wayne Campbell, beloved son of William and Elizabeth (Betty) Campbell. Born July 20, 1951 in St Thomas Ontario. Cherished by his children Scott William David, Melanie Anne Elizabeth, Jesse Tyler Steven, Sara Jane Georgina, dear friend and their mother Jane Ellen Campbell, and his beloved dog Shelby. Brother to Eugene Campbell (Elaine). Remembered fondly by Charlie, Dennis and Rene Campbell. Wayne passed away peacefully with the support of his devoted and loving family.
Wayne was a charismatic jokester and genuine man who loved to stay involved in the community whether it be as a Guelph Minor Baseball coach to many or a fan favourite at Sparta Raceway, he prided himself on being caring and kind to everyone he met. Always an entertainer with kind hearted jokes and engaging stories, Wayne was a larger than life man who always captivated a room.
A celebration of life for Wayne will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a meaningful charity of your choice in Wayne’s honour.
