Mary Anna Blyth passed away peacefully and with grace into God's loving care on Friday, March 31st, 2017. 

Dear wife of the late James Anthony Carlin. Beloved mother and step-mother of Claudia Moorhead, John (Toni), Cathy (Hugh McMorrow), Shellie Staples, Mary Green (Chuck Holmes), Maureen (John Frankcom) and Moira (Peter Edwins). Daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Blyth of Glasgow, Scotland. Loving big sister of David (Pauline) of England, Fay (Patrick Forde) of Ireland and Elise Andrews of Scotland. Cherished grandmother of Lisa, Corinne, Janice, Siobhan, Michael, Teri, Cathy, Ellen, JJ, Alyshia, Jaimie, James, Sarah, Jacob, Richard, Blythe and Catherine. She loved visits with her 22 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband James, her step-son James, her brother John, her son-in-law Charles Moorhead and her brother-in-law James Andrews. 

She will be fondly remembered by her sisters of the Catholic Women's Leagues from Sacred Heart Kenilworth, St. Joseph's Guelph and the Diocese of Hamilton. Her countless volunteer hours with various organizations has impacted the lives of many within Guelph and Wellington County and endeared her in the hearts of those who worked with her. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Easterbrook for his care of over these many years - mom always said she was lucky to have such a wonderful, caring doctor. We also thank the staff of Hospice Wellington for their loving, gentle care during her last days. Our family has been blessed to take this journey with your support. 

Friends are invited to join the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday, April 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Kenilworth will take place at a later time. 

Memorial donations to the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, Hospice Wellington or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
