It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Anjela (Anj) Carter of Guelph.
Beloved wife (wifey) of Stuart Carter, dearest daughter of Syd and Margy (predeceased) Jardine and cherished sister of Sally (Alan) Jardine. With family by her side, Anj left us from the Guelph General Hospital on July 6, 2022 at the age of 56. Anj will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and dearly missed by those in the United Kingdom and Canada who were touched by her kind heart and generous spirit. Anj’s warm smile and caring manner continued as she created new friendships with the ICU Team (now family).
Family and friends will gather at Wall-Custance Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:30am, followed by a memorial service at 12:30pm. A celebration of life will be held after the service at Baker Street Station (76 Baker Street, Guelph). In lieu of flowers memorial donations made in Anjela’s name, to The Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital – Intensive Care Unit, would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Anjela E. Carter in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
Street parking is available on Green St. and Norwich St. around the funeral home, as well as in the funeral home parking lots. Staff will be present to provide assistance.
