Maria Pia Irene Ceccotti (nee Angeloni) joined her heavenly family and gained her wings. Maria Pia passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on March 12, 2022 after an illness at St Joseph's Health Care Centre. She was born in the village of Gubbio, Perugia, Umbria, Italia. Beloved wife to the Late Lanfranco Ceccotti. Loved mother Robert and Sandra Ceccotti, Grace and Joe Trecapelli, Gloria and Tony Querques, and Frank and Julia Ceccotti. Sister of Fiorella Drudi, Graziella Angeloni and Velia Corrente. Nonna will sadly be missed by her grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniela, Joshua and Brandon, Julia and Daniel, Nina and Domenic. Great-grandchildren, Hudson, Tye & Violet.

She will forever be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives in Italy, and many friends. A special thank you to all the extended family.

Maria Pia invited everyone who arrived at their home with joy and, of course, lots of food and drinks. She was an amazing cook and was constantly making pizza, lasagna, cookies, and cakes from scratch with unrivaled talent and passion. Maria Pia also spent many hours attending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Her natural green thumb grew blooms that burst continuously with colour and size. Her biggest passion was her children and grandchildren who she constantly showered with unconditional love.

You gave us life
To live as we please,
You gave us love and
Support to follow our dreams.
Your beauty lives
Forever deep in our soul,
The memory of your love
Fills our hearts
And we are never alone.
