(1942 – 2022) – Rich’s family announces his passing on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Beloved husband of Susy. Much loved father of John (Karin), Mark (Kathy), and Jenny.  Loving Poppa of Jade, Brooke, Mia, Abbey, Daniel and Rocco.  Dear brother of Linda and Nick.  Predeceased by his parents John and Adele Lorito.

Rich spent his entire career as an educator, starting as a classroom teacher and ending as a principal in both Georgetown and Milton. He was a devoted family man and an avid sports enthusiast.  He enjoyed organizing trips to Saratoga, New York to watch the races, playing pool with his buddies in Mississauga and at The Arboretum in Guelph and of course, cheering on the Maple Leafs and Blue Jays with Susy.  Rich loved to have fun and had a great sense of humour.  Many a classic jukebox party was held in the basement of the Lorito home, dancing the night away to 50’s and 60’s rock’n’roll music.

Rich was honest, generous, and kind.  He was a great husband, great father, great person.
