Celebration of Life: WILLIAMS, Pierre

A celebratiton the life and times of Mr. Pierre " Perry/Peter" Williams will be held at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday November 11 at 2:30 p.m. Canon David Bowyer to officiate. 

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Pierre (Pete/Perry) Williams at the age of 85 years. He was surrounded by loving family members during his short illness.
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Frances Williams; sisters Marjorie Myers (Jack) and Mavis Madden; brothers Leonard (Mary), Eddie (Gen), Richard (Bun) Williams and grandson Ryan Doig; brothers and sister-in-law Len Griffin and Eileen (Gerry) Wagner.
Leaving to mourn his wife of 50 years, devoted caregiver, and best friend Georgina (Jo) (nee Griffin) Williams; daughters Kelli (Donnie), Krista (Dave) and Vicki (Steve); his cherished grandchildren Liam, Olivia, Jasmine and Griffin; sister Millie (Danny) Chafe; brother Max (Philomena) Williams; brother and sisters-in-law Genevieve and Bernadette Williams, Bernard Madden; large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Pete served his country for 21 years in the Canadian Army travelling to Cyprus, Egypt, Germany, Puerto Rico and Syria. Within Canada, Halifax, NS, Carp, Petawawa ON, Shilo MB and Chilliwack BC. After retiring from the army, he received his Welder-Fitter finishing top of his class, working in that industry, and then finally becoming a City of Guelph Transit bus driver until his retirement.

Resting at Memory Gardens, Breslau, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19, a private Funeral service will be held for immediate family. We look forward to having a Celebration of Life when possible, to include all of Peters extended family and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St. N., Breslau. A book of online condolences may be signed at memorycemetery.ca.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Peter’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
