Passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in her 102nd year at St. Luke’s Place in Cambridge, Ontario.
Dear wife of Roy Challacombe. Beloved mother of Peter Douglas, Shari Pus (Mark) and Mary Douglas Hunt (Cliff). Dear grandmother of Danielle McKinney (James), Jacqueline Skeldon (Sean), Brittany MacLean (Cord), Lane Unger (Jeff) and Danya Douglas Hunt. Great grandmother of Tom and Ali McKinney, Violet and Evelyn Skeldon, and Avery and Colton MacLean.
She grew up in Toronto and lived most of her life there. In earlier times, summers were spent enjoying cottage life in Muskoka with her mother, Aura and her sister Beverly. Winter months were enjoyed with Roy in Sarasota, Florida.
Mum was a devoted Christian who thankfully passed on her beliefs to her family. We will miss her every day.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
