Passed away peacefully at Morriston Park Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in her 79th year.
Beloved wife of the late John Checkley. Loved mother of Tracey (Walter) Gorasso and Chris Checkley. Loving grandmother of Sean (Stephanie), Alessandro, Nikcole (Cory), Cassandra, and Cameron. Great grandmother of Spencer, Sebastian, and Beau. Dear sister to Dorothy Harmer. Cherished friend to Garth. Mary will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren on adventures and picnics where she would pack delicious lunches and go exploring new areas. Mary also looked forward to her weekly lunch visits with her dear friend, Garth. She also enjoyed her get-togethers with the ladies in her Barrie Hill Church community.
