Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, July 7, 2017, in his 85th year.
Predeceased by his wife Hui Mei (Grace) Chung (1995). Loving father to Jack, Jean, David and Nancy. Remembered fondly by several grandchildren and family members. Survived by long-time friend Sophia.
Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and at Priory Park Baptist Church, 8 Torch Lane, Guelph on Thursday, July 13 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
A tree will be planted in memory of Charlie Chung in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 p.m.
