Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Angelina (Paonne) Ciccia, in her 87th year, was the beloved wife of the late Michael Ciccia (2012). She was the dear loving mother of Sam (Angela), late infant daughter Mary (1956), late Ralph (2014), Nancy (Raymond) George and Tony (Debbie). Angelina will be fondly remembered by eleven grandchildren, Christie-Lynne Barry, Michael, Joseph, Gabriel, Jacob, Angelina (Mathew) Smith, Louis Contini, Adam and Ashton George, Marianna and Michael and by six great-grandchildren Jetzia Lassi, Samantha-Rae and Tru Smith and Adalyn and Maddox Barry, and Anthony Contini. She was the dear sister of Elena (Mike) Fonte, Tony (Maria) Paonne, Melina Paonne, Teresina (Salvatore) Monteleonne and in-laws Mary (late Angelo) Scroccaro, Ralph, Vince (late Rose), Joe (Rose), late Frank (Anne). She was predeceased by her parents Michele and Marianna Paonne, her brother Salvatore Paonne and in-laws Salvatore and Annunziata Ciccia. Angelina will be missed by many nieces and nephews, as well as friends, neighbors and extended family.

Angelina was a long time employee of Homewood Health Centre. She will be remembered for her deep faith, love and devotion to her family, her selfless kindness and most of all her zeppole.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N. Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 4-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. All are welcome to livestream the service on the internet via ZOOM by clicking on the link found on the funeral home website.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks, respect, admiration and gratitude to the entire staff, and especially to Tawyna Bushey for the incredible and unwavering love, care and dignity they gave to Angelina during her stay there.
