It is with heavy heart that the family of Brenda Colaizzi announce her passing on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Guelph General Hospital, at the age of 72, following her second- battle with cancer. Brenda was the loving mother of daughter Christina (David Magee) and son Derek (Tamara Hrienko). With pride, she was the grandmother of Dylan and Brandan Magee, and Tatyana and Joseph Colaizzi. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Alma Moseley (nee Zettel) and her brother Larry. Especially during her time of illness, Brenda felt truly blessed by the love and encouragement she received from family and friends, a gift she treasured.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N, Guelph, ON N1H4P3. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. An interment will take place at Marymount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charily of choice would be appreciated by the family.
