(March 24, 1921 – January 27, 2020) Eva passed away peacefully on January 27th in her 99th year surrounded by people who cared at The Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph, Ontario. She was born in Creemore, Ontario on March 25, 1921 to the late Samuel Ross Walker and Myrtle May Gallaugher. Predeceased by her husband Frank (1990) and siblings Mary (2016) and Edna (2000). Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews John (Jackie), Wendy, Grant, Lynne (Grant) and Mark (Donna), Sandra (Bob) and her dear friend Ruth Rodgers. Dearly missed by her great nieces and nephews. Most precious to Eva was the visits from her great, great nephews, Lennon, Bodhi and Reid. Eva will be remembered for her infectious smile, speaking her mind, great work ethics and her love for sports. A celebration of life will take place at Riverside Glen on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 at 2:30 pm. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the MS Society, Canada. Internment will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Barrie Ontario at a later date. A tree will be planted in memory of Eva M. Comartin in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:30 pm
