Passed away at Riverside Glen (Long Term Care) on October 21, 2019 in his 85th year. He was born in Toronto on October 5, 1934.
He is survived by his wife Sally of 62 years. He leaves behind four sons – Bill (Diane), Brian (Debbie), Bob (Alison) and Brad. Also survived by his brother Elgin (Carolyn) and brother-in-law Art Doupe, sister-in-law Peggy Curtiss, ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Gladys (Hisey) Coutts, sister Phyllis, brother Ron and sister-in-law Sharon.
John served his Lord in churches in Gasport, NY, and in Ontario at Beachville, Thorold, Hamilton, Guelph, Kitchener, Mississauga and Toronto. John was a graduate of Toronto Bible College, McMaster University and McMaster Divinity College.
Many thanks to the staff at Riverside Glen (Arthur Village) for all the love you showed him and thanks also to friends of Foxwood Place for their many thoughts and prayers for his family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Faith Baptist Church, 485 King St. E., Mount Forest. Visitation at 10 am with service to follow at 11 am, followed by lunch at noon. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051
