Ron Cox

Ronald (Ron) Edward Cox, 79, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021 surrounded by his family. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Marilyn; children, Terry (Sarah), Tim (Kelly), and Randy (Catherine); grandchildren, Finn, Serena, Ellis, Connolly and Sophia; his sister Donna Bunton (Murray); and numerous other family members and
friends.

Ron was never one to sit still. He could always be found soaking up the sunshine and taking part in his many hobbies; being on the ball diamond or golf course, in a pool or riding a bike, casting a fishing line, or tending to his lawn and garden. His blood ran true blue for his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers, always
believing "this would be the year". Not just a fan, Ron spent 25 wonderful years as a player and coach of the Aberfoyle Men's Fastball team.

Always the first to lend a hand, he was a founding member of the Motivators Rod & Custom Car Club in Aberfoyle, ON. Ron was with Ralston Metal Products in Guelph for over 40 years. Many thanks to the Berry family. Winters in Florida meant lots of sunshine, and more time for golfing, fishing, playing cards and Happy Hour! Ron enjoyed life to its fullest.

He will be missed for his giant smile, hearty laugh, and warm embrace that was felt by everyone around him. We will all miss you Ronnie!
