Born September 10, 1936, called home peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the age of 84.
Predeceased by his parents William Curoe and Marie (nee Korney), his wife of 40 years, Peggy, and his wife of 15 years, Angela.
Survived by his daughters Cynthia Ray and Rebecca Slater, and his brother Rick (Minerva) Curoe of Alberta and their three children.
Gerry will be greatly missed by his daughters, Cindy and Becky, and his friend of many years, Susan.
After 30 years of service to his country in the Armed Forces in Germany, Cyprus and at various Canadian bases, Gerry gave another 17 years of service protecting his community by working for Correctional Services Canada.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051, on Friday, March 5,2021 at 2:00pm. Friends may attend remotely via Zoom through the link on the funeral home website (please join with your microphone muted).
While Gerry loved flowers, the family wishes that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
