It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Cuthbertson on June 26th, 2022, at the age of 74. Susan showed tremendous strength through a long, challenging illness and passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington with her family and best friend by her side.

Loving wife, dedicated partner, and best friend to Michael A. Cuthbertson for 48 years.

Beloved mother to: Christopher (Sara) and Jonathan Cuthbertson (Kim), and Bradley Duley (Gemma).
Cherished Grandmother to: Grace, Luke, Cayleigh, Delsin, Beck, Emily, and Kyla.

Predeceased by sister Gwen Gahagan and her mother Florence Sass (Baker).

Susan will be so missed by a large loving family and close friends.

Susan had a lively sense of humour and loved it when her home was filled with family and friends while laughter echoed from room to room. She was often tirelessly cooking and baking wonderful meals behind the scenes that added to the joyous, loving atmosphere she created.

Susan was a selfless mother and wife who ensured her family were loved and always came first. She loved cultivating her beautiful gardens and in her later years enjoyed spending quiet time with her husband observing the daily changes and active wildlife. In her early professional life, she was a caring and talented hairdresser who enjoyed making her customers smile. Sue also had a passion for competitive ballroom dancing where she effortlessly floated across the dancefloor with grace and beauty.

Her selflessness extended beyond her family to community service work including fundraising for Hospice Wellington and as a member of the Rotary Club of Guelph.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N, Guelph. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington or a Hospice in your community would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences can be made at the funeral home or online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
