Passed peacefully on March 20, 2022 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus Ontario.
Loving Husband to Jane, Father of Matthew and John. Loved as a brother, brother-in-law by Katherine MacNeale, Julie and Chris Bregenhoj (Australia), and Melanie Knight (Etobicoke). Loving Uncle and Great Uncle to Nephews and Nieces in Australia.
Bob had a long career in the investment business which took the family to many parts of the world including Hong Kong, Singapore and England. They landed back to where it all started in Canada where Bob continued his favourite past times of “all things sports”, volunteering and nature.
He spent many years as a lifetime member of the Oakville Crusaders club coaching the mini and junior rugby, latterly with the highland club in Fergus. When he wasn’t on the field, he could be found volunteering with the Fergus Foodbank and the Wellington Terrace Long Term Care. If he wasn’t doing these things he could be found up at their trailer with a good book and a Guinness.
