Helen Dawson passed away after a lengthy and courageous fight against
cancer at the Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, January 13, 2021
at the age of 74 years. Loving mother of Dean Dawson and Anne (Cliff)
Russell. Cherished grandma of Kenadie and Ryder.
Predeceased by her parents Joe and Genevieve McCormick and her baby
brother Alex.
Survived by her brothers Jim (Linda) McCormick and Dugal (Jocelyn)
McCormick, sister-in-law Wendy Dawson, brother-in-law Bill (Penny)
Dawson, nieces, nephews and many cousins. Helen had a special place in
her heart for her great nephew Cash in England.
She will be truly missed by many friends and family who have helped her
during this difficult time. Her family would like to thank everyone who
has supported Helen in her battle.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at the Glenelg
Cemetery, Markdale in the spring. If so desired, memorial donations to
the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
