DeCORSO, Vincenzo (Jimmy)

Age 91, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022.

Loved husband of Lucia DeCorso (Costanzo), dear father of Ted, Lucy (Maurizio), Mary Anna and Gloria. Proud Grandfather of Lucas and Claudia Campoli. Predeceased by his parents Diodoro and Maria DeCorso. Dear brother of Carmela (late Diodoro Iacocca) predeceased by siblings Emilia, Teresa, Nicola, Guiseppina, and Pasquale. Survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dad enjoyed gardening, golfing, Bocce, meeting his friends at the club and watching sports on TV.

We would like to thank the staff at Guelph General 5th floor West and Hospice Wellington for the care father received during his final weeks.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, friends and family are welcome to attend visitation on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 1:00pm-4:00pm and 5:00pm-7:00pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk St, Guelph at 10:00am. A private family only entombment will take place at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum. Due to COVID restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance using the link below his obituary for both the visitation and/or the Funeral Mass at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com . All are welcome but masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in place.
