Diana Margarita (Winkler) Dempsey passed away on January 24, 2021 but her spirit died when she lost her beloved husband of 42 years, Herb Dempsey, a few months earlier. Born on October 18, 1946 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Diana traveled the world with her family and learned to speak six languages. She eventually settled in Guelph where she met and married Herb. She briefly owned Dempsey Real Estate and Omakai Antiques in Guelph, before helping with the office work of her husband's construction company. Diana often hosted dinner parties, welcoming friends and family for home-cooked meals, cards and conversation. Predeceased by her brother Richard Winkler (2003), she is survived by her son Alexander Galant and his family; Kirk Teeple and family, as well as Herb's children Glen & Debbie and their families. Diana will be missed by so many who knew her. Respecting her wishes, Diana was cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
