DOBBERTHEIN, Lila Grace

Passed away peacefully at Morriston Park Nursing Home on Tuesday September 6, 2016.  Lila (Frey) Dobberthein in her 90th year. Wife of the late Lorne Dobberthein.  Beloved mother of Dale Chapman, Greg (Janet), and Allen all of Guelph.  Dear grandma of Jason, Melissa, Shelley, Cheryl and Lyle.  Great grandmother of Toni Lynn, Alexandria, Liam and Adelyn.  Great-great grandmother of Jacob and Maisie.  Sadly missed by her sister Shirley Gauthier of Guelph.  Predeceased by her son Richard and her brother Floyd.  Lila worked at Biltmore Hats and was a seamstress.  She also drove a school bus for the Wellington County Board of Education.  Friends may call at GILCHRIST CHAPEL, McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday September 8th).  A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus.  Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  We invite you to leave your condolences and donations online at www.gilchristchapel.com.
