Passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Riverside Glen.
Betty was the devoted wife of the late Howard (2018) for 69 years. A much-loved mother of Marian (Jerry) Wink of Orillia, Marjorie (the late Tony 2007) Stokman and Ken (Cynthia) Dool. She was the cherished Grandma of Bob & Jackie, Sandra & Darryl, Kate & Mark, Lisa, Lauren, Craig & Heather. Great grandma of Evan, Rohan, Cedar, Sadie, Sara and James. Betty will be remembered by her sister-in-law Margaret Dowden.
Betty met Howard at Hurley Printing in Brantford. They married and moved to Guelph in 1950. In the early years, with a young family, they billeted hockey players. Later, Betty worked as a secretary at Victory Public School. Mom was a beautiful knitter, proficient card player, diligent worker and always proud of her family. We enjoyed many meals around the table on Paisley Street with family and friends.
