Passed away peacefully with her beloved husband Gordon and family by her side on January 26, 2021.

Bernice was born on May 8, 1933 and predeceased by her parents Dilman Trask (1959) and Mamie Drewery Trask (1980). Bernice and Gordon were married on June 1, 1957 at Elora United Church, almost 64 years ago.

Bernice and Gordon farmed together and raised a family of five children on their farm on Jones Baseline.  Bernice was the loving mother of Wanda, Floyd (Jackie), Dale (Susan), Jessie (Chris) and Brian (Mona).  Also cherished grandmother of Justin, Adam, Rachel, Scott, Kevin, Kelly, Brandon, Brock, Britney, Michael, Eric, Ian (passed in 2006), seven great grandchildren, and their growing families.

Bernice and Gordon spearheaded the creation of what has now become Dunk Farms, a dairy and swine operation near Guelph. Bernice always went above and beyond for her family and friends. She was a caring parent, loving partner, tireless farmer, and a great friend.

All the love you can give, every day that you live, is how Bernice will be remembered.

Due to present conditions a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those who so desire may make a donation in her memory to Barrie Hill United Church.

 A tree will be planted in memory of Bernice Dunk in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
