It is with a broken heart that our family announces the passing of Steve on June 14, 2023. His passing was peaceful in his sleep as he was surrounded by family. He was 64 years old.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Cheryl, sons Jesse and Ian, brother Kevin and his wife Tina along with the rest of Cheryl's family, the Piercey’s.
He was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario before moving to Toronto. From there Steve and Cheryl moved to Rockwood to raise their family and where they have been for more than 30 years.
He loved playing his guitars, both acoustic and electric, and would sit for hours in the front room watching YouTube tutorials on new songs. His music will be missed, and his guitar will always have a special place in the home.
He will also be remembered for his handyman skills. His passion for working with his hands made our house a home.
Service and celebration of life will be held at Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk St Guelph ON at 11:00am on Saturday, June 24, 2023 with a reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
