1924 - 2021
Donna was the cherished wife of Warren Durnin (2001), beloved mother of Karen Colussi (1998) (David), Patrick (Laura), Maureen (Michael Hoy), loving and proud grandmother of David (Helena), Amy (Fede), Anya, Daniel (Jenifer), Jenna (Matt), Haily (Clay), Mitchell (Riel), Alexis (Thomas), Joshua and great-grandmother to eleven.
Donna was born in Windsor to F.R. Little and Mary Mulcaster. She trained as an R.N. at Grace Hospital before marrying Warren Durnin and raising three children. In her 40’s she earned a B.Sc. Nursing and began training future generations of nurses at Chatham General/St. Clair College. When she retired, she moved to Guelph to be nearer family. Donna was a much loved and respected wife, mother, colleague and friend.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel. As per Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Joseph’s Health Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
