With tremendous pain and broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved youngest son, Wyatt Gregory Eston, on Sunday October 23 in the early morning. Time will not heal the wound of losing him at so young an age, but he leaves us with 21 years of memories of laughter, love, and pride. He leaves behind broken hearted parents Valerie and Greg, loving brothers Christopher and Chad, loving Grandparents Eugene and Joan Fraser, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and the rest of the Eston and Fraser Clans (Je Suis Prest).

Wyatt loved his sports. He played competitive hockey and soccer most of his life and loved all his teammates like they were brothers. His Mom and Dad will always remember how great the times were at Soccer pitches and Hockey Arenas while he was growing up. To say we were “proud” is an understatement. He was a great fan of the Ottawa Senators and Chelsea FC. He loved to tease his dad, brothers, and Grandpa about how bad the Habs, Leafs, and Rangers were (even when they weren’t). We have fond memories of Team Wyatt and Grandma winning the hockey pool.

He was born in Guelph and grew up under the care and protection of our Nicklin Crescent extended family (the Hood), and the wonderful kids and staff at Holy Rosary Catholic school. At the age of 9 he moved to Belle River, Ontario and came to love a whole new bunch of kids and sports friends near Windsor. He attended Ste Annes Catholic High-School in Tecumseh, Ontario. Finally, He came to Goderich in 2021, where he will be sadly missed by his Canadian Tire work family and new friends here. Everywhere he went, Wyatt came to be loved by the people he came in contact with. We will have a hole in our souls until the day we follow him. God Bless you son, Mom and Dad.

A visitation is planned for Saturday, October 29 between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm where family will receive guests at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home - Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph Ontario. Then there will be a "casual" Celebration of Life on Sunday October 30 from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm at the Guelph Curling Club, 816 Woolwich Street, Guelph, Ontario. Remembrances will commence at 4:15pm. In Wyatt's memory, donations to HeadsupGuys.org, which is involved with preventing suicide in men, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
